Art Linkletter's House Party was broadcast on radio from 1945 to 1967. The most memorable part of the show for me was the Kids Say the Darndest Things segment. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who fantasized about being on the show. Many websites include some of the best quotes. A couple of my favorites:"Love is foolish but I might try it sometime." I did nothing BUT fantasize at that age, so I'm sure he was a part of my dreams.
I sort of miss the days when our only external input was audio. I think it left more room for imagination, for filling in the spaces.
