A lifetime ago I stumbled across this art installation in Idyllwild (an art community east of San Bernardino). I've never forgotten the experience of walking through this forest of art. It inspired me to try to find my own artistic voice. I found this image on the internet but little info on the artist (Cristine Fogg Horton? or Horton & Fogg) or where they might be these days.

Does Anyone Know About This Artist?

Incredible. What year was that? I was probably a stone's throw away in the Mojave. I tried googling and didn't come up with much. Keep me posted. I would have loved seeing this!
I'm going to keep trying. If all else fails, we'll just have to recreate the "forest" on my little ranchette in Hollister!
