Why I Love Living in the Country
It's freezing out here in Hollister. But there are rewards that come with winter. On Tuesday, I took my camera with me when I went out to feed the horses and chickens. These of some of my favorites.
In my life I've waited tables, raised sons, taught school, published books, and railed at politicians. I'm building a house, next to my son, where I can spend time with my granddaughter. I read, write, and dream about being immortal.

I'm moving in. Tell John. I'm sure he'll understand...
Boy, that would be too cool. Bring Irene, the dog, and lots of board games. I'll provide nonstop MSNBC and munchie food!
I'm coming too. Bringing the tambourine and kazoo. Let's have that young guy with the piano come too. Just beautiful stuff Sandra.
Thanks so much, Cynthia. We'll party "all night long". Just cause we can.
